Evros have been partnering with Hertz for over 15 years and have implemented numerous client focused critical projects in the past.
Hertz previously used LANDesk to manage their client environment, consisting of over 4000 desktops in Europe (1000 of these are in Ireland). A number of points influenced the move to System Center Configuration Manager 2012, which are detailed below:
- The desire to change AV to End Point Protection
- The desire to move away from LanDesk licencing
- The close integration the system center suite has and the associated benefits the Hertz can achieve.
All the features Evros implemented in Hertz were;
- Automate Software Distribution
- Deploy Operating System Images
- Automate Patch Management
- Hardware and Software Inventory
- Remote Management
- Desired configuration monitoring
- Software utilization
The project was successfully completed and today is an essential Management tool for Hertz’s European wide desktop estate.
