Evros Announced For TechLive 2019

Croke-Park Tech LiveEvros Technology Group will be part of the inaugural TechLive event on Thursday 21st February at Croke Park.

The ICT event, ‘How the Business of ICT will be done‘ is organised by the TechCentral.ie media collective and will the first of a new channel presenting a host of vendors, distributors and resellers that are developing expertise and solutions to suit business needs, based on deep technical knowledge, training and resource back-up.

Set in the Hogan Suite at Croke Park, TechLive was created to explore the rapid changes within the ICT industry, and to deliver insight from the channel that serves Irish organisations.

Evros CIO Joe Brady, Head of Enterprise Martin Carry, and Evros Azure Principal Solution Architect Joe Carlyle (wedoAzure) have all been invited to sit on panels, moderated by TechPro editor and TechFire chair Paul Hearns, will tackle issues under headings such as cloud computing, digital transformation and cyber security.

The event will be divided into two sessions:

Morning Channel Line-Up 9am – 12.30pm

A programme of presentations will put forward the views of vendors, distributors and – critically – CIOs on how the ICT channel is changing to support the needs of increasingly agile enterprise.

Channel view sessions

The sessions are structured around the CIOs’ respective experiences in dealing with digital transformation and organisational change, and how interaction with the channel supports, or not, their efforts.

The vendor and distributor speakers will describe their efforts to create channel structures that reflect the new demands of CIOs as they drive transformation agendas.

The panel session will allow each participant a 2-minute slot to put forth their views on the evolving ICT channel, and address issues and comments raised from the previous sessions.

The panel will then move into a moderated discussion, allowing audience members to express their views and share experiences, as well as address questions to the participants.
