2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. However, there have still been plentiful positives that the team at Evros has been able to take from the past twelve months.
Not only have we had the opportunity to provide vital support to all of our customers during what has been a challenging time, but we have also had our hard work recognised through numerous awards.
In July, we were named Microsoft Business Applications Partner of the Year for Ireland. We were also awarded the Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization at the start of November.
And now, we’re proud to announce our latest accolade: Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP).
What does Microsoft Azure Expert MSP Status mean?
This is an extremely prestigious award which is only open to those who have already attained Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform competency – the highest possible level.
To pass the award criteria, we needed to demonstrate our calibre, skillset and experience in the design, deployment and delivery of Microsoft Azure, via an extremely comprehensive audit process.
“At Evros, we already have an extremely comprehensive cloud offering which includes fully manned, global 24x7x365 support provided by our offices across Ireland and Auckland, New Zealand,” says Evros Operations Director, Caroline Godsil.
“However, this accreditation which was driven and led by our Principal Azure Solution Architect and Microsoft MVP, Joe Carlyle, enables us to add an extra level of quality to our customer engagement from presales, right through to our engineering team.
“Attaining this award not only enhances our full range of services, but it also validates our years of experience, expertise and success in cloud technologies.
“With this certification, our customers can be confident that we have reached the pinnacle in Microsoft Azure competency, experience and proficiency.”
Joe Carlyle continues: “For Evros to attain and be recognised as part of the Microsoft Azure Expert MSP programme is a huge achievement – one that I am personally very proud of. As this is the top-tier partner programme, it confirms Evros’ capability to offer outstanding service and support to our Azure customers, while ensuring we meet stringent and important Microsoft standards.”
“Evros’s newly achieved Azure Expert MSP Status means that Irish organisations now have even more access to globally-recognised cloud expertise, right on their doorstep, to help them digitally transform their operations. To achieve this status, Evros had to prove an exceptionally high level of experience and competency in Azure design, delivery and support,” says Aisling Curtis, Commercial Director Microsoft Ireland.
“Evros is the second indigenous Irish company to have achieved this accreditation to date so this is a significant achievement. Evros is one of our most innovative partners we work with who delivers enhanced cloud expertise to our joint customers and I am excited to see what innovations they will bring to Irish organisations to help them in their digital transformation journey,” she says.
