Evros championed the transformation of the customer and end-user experience at today’s event, Evros Experience 2019.
The Evros event, which was held at Evros Headquarters in Cherrywood, Dublin opened its doors to almost 60+ attendees, showcasing the emerging technologies that are streamlining business operations.

Commercial Director John Kennedy kicked off the morning with a quick overview of the growth at Evros. John spoke about the team who had travelled to New Zealand yesterday (Wednesday) to open our first global office and establish the Evros ‘Follow the Sun’ Managed Service capability.
Next, Major Accounts Director Pamela Farrell introduced the latest features of eSource, the Evros IT procurement portal. With over 650 customers, eSource Following its founding in September 2017, eSource helps over 650 customers to streamline their IT procurement processes.
Customers aren’t working traditional hours anymore; the eSource team is seeing orders come in early in the morning or very late at night. eSource’s Lisa White guided the audience through a demo of the eSource portal; showcasing features such as how to create a bundle, special pricing, enterprise corporate branding, and live stock levels.
The focus moved from IT procurement into Microsoft Azure Cloud and the challenges surrounding Licensing. Azure Cloud Consultant Joe Carlyle outlined Azure Spark, the new Evros consultative engagement designed to light the path towards Cloud adoption for our customers.
Spark is the latest offering established by Evros that allows organisations to confidently migrate and develop Cloud-based services with the certainty that the technical, security and governance aspects have been considered, agreed, and implemented.
Joe and his team have since helped several customers to begin their journey to Azure without the traditional fears or challenges attached to a migration.
Joe outlined initial factors to consider when maximising your Azure migration and licensing, highlighting the importance of identity when tackling your move to the Cloud.
Warren Adamson held a demonstration of mySoftware.ie, showcasing the holistic way to manage Microsoft licensing within an organisation. mySoftware.ie bundles your licensing into one monthly subscription with automated alerts for renewal and facilitates the once manual and cumbersome process of managing multiple software licenses, giving the user the ability to add, edit or remove users and licenses.
