Evros Technology Group will be part of this year’s HEAnet National Conference in Galway.

heanet eventThe two-day event (7-9 November 2018) which will be held at The Galmont Hotel is set to explore the latest developments in networking technology and services for the research and education community. 

Driven to deliver Common, Repeatable & Shareable Solutions, The HEAnet National Conference is an annual event which attracts delegates from across the Education and Research Sector, as well as industry leaders and technology experts. It provides a unique opportunity for you to learn about, present and discuss the latest developments in networking technology and services for the research and education community.

The list of speakers include:

Aidan McDonald, CIT Head of IT Operations; HEAnet’s own Anna Wilson; Professor Anne Scott of NUI Galway, Vice President for Equality & Diversity; Beth Doherty, EduCampus Head of Service Delivery; Brian O’Donoghue, CiscoSystems Senior Systems Engineer; and Christopher McElligott, UCC IT Analyst.

The morning will kick off with a Welcome reception sponsored by Dell EMC followed by the Welcome Key Note Speaker, HEAnet’s Kerrie Power.

Between Lightning Talks and fireside chats, there will be multiple streams to choose from with topics of the day exploring Cyber Threat Intelligence, Gateway to the Cloud, Enhancing the Power of the Student Voice, Delivering Shared Services in the Cloud, and examining how to generate Efficiencies in HE with Online Personal Exam Timetables.

Various student perspectives will be showcased in depth through the day also.
